Elton John Live at the San Bernardino Swing Auditorium 1970-11-xx

THIS RECORDING IS NOT TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE! Do not encode to MP3 for trading purposes.

This is from another uncirculated reel master tape, featuring an entire night at the Swing. The opening act was Sweathog (or Frosty??), then Elton John. The main headliner was Leon Russell. All acts appear on this tape. If there is interest in the other bands, I will post them. I am particularly interested in doing a Leon Russell flood, I have found four concerts already from different time periods. Also, if anybody has any form of a songlist from a commercially-released Sweathog album, I can use that to get a track listing for this show.

The recording quality varies, I'd put it at a solid VG with occasional drops in clarity.

I have had some trouble in pinning down the exact date. It's probably the 15th, but I have no way of being certain. That would place it two days before the WABC radio broadcast that forced the release of "Elton John 11-17-70". It certainly sounds like a similar set, but it's looser and with more energy.

Setlist:

Your Song
Bad Side Of the Moon
Border Song
Can I Put You On? (cut, unfortunately)
Country Comfort
Take Me To The Pilot
Sixty Years On
Honky Tonk Woman
Burn Down The Mission Medley including Get Back

How times have changed. How many people remember Leon Russell?

Lineage:
MR 3 3/4 ips -> Sound Forge (metadata stripped) ->Flac Frontend -> You

This tape has never been posted before in any forum.

Enjoy!
