I originally uploaded this show in 2009, and it is no longer on the tracker. I am re-uploading some of my favorite bootlegs to make them available to members that weren't around during that time period. My original upload was from an excellent cassette tape bootleg, this upload is from a CDR bootleg which I was unable to transfer last time due to a bad CD drive (I thought the CDR was bad, but not the case). Review of the Spectrum Analysis of both versions reveals this to be cleaner, in my opinion.

Original Notes from 2009:

This show occured on May 7, 1977. Different sources refer to the different dates, however. Elton states that this was on a Saturday night, and was the last night of a string of shows. May 7, 1977 was on a Saturday so I believe that is the correct date.
The "to be continued....." box set references May 13, 1977 as the date "I Feel Like a Bullet" was recorded, but I
believe the version included on the complete "Rainbow Rock" is the same version as I overlaid both versions on top of each other and they match perfectly. As a result, I have removed it from this
set. It can be purchased on the box set, so if you don't already own it, you can get this song there.

Elton John performed a series of charity concerts in May 1977, with percussionist Ray Cooper, at the Rainbow Theatre
in London, England. This performance is from May 7, 1977 and has been widely available as a bootleg over the years
as "Rainbow Rock". I don't see it on Dime, so here it is for your listening pleasure. Bootlegs don't get much better
than this.
