All are first generation transfers from my original recordings, from the actual broadcast. There are no copies of tapes as the source for any of these transfers, and most were at SP.

These appearances are from the Today Show and Larry King Live. The Today Show's performances are from 1999 and 2000, when Elton was promoting Aida and El Dorado, respectively. The 1999 performance includes LeAnn Rimes on the duet of "Written in the Stars", while the 2000 show is a peformance of 5 songs, outside of the studios in the courtyard.

The Larry King 'Live' shows are from 2002 and 2005, and were to promote the "Songs From the West Coast" and "Peachtree Road" CD's, respectively. Six performances came from these shows. Elton performed solo in 2002, and included the whole band for the 2005 show. The quality of these perfomances is exceptional. I have not included the interview segments of these shows, of which part the 2005 interview was included on the Larry King 'Live' DVD. These performances are not on that official release.

Included as well are performances on David Letterman, as well as duet's with Christina Aguiera, Rhianna, The Black Eyed Peas and The Pussy Cat Dolls on Fashion Rocks. These are why TV performances are different than a typical concert performance.

The VH1 Divas performances were not released on the official DVD.

This volume also includes several performances from the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The first of these is from 1993 (the audio from this is not in HI-FI as the HI-FI audio heads had gone bad on my VCR at that time), and the last is from 2004. In 2001, Elton and Billy Joel appeared together and performed "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and "Piano Man".

The Kennedy Center Honors do not include any performances from Elton, but very good performances from Billy Joel, Fantasia, Kid Rock and Heather Headley.
