100 Songs and More - Night 5 of 10

With surprise guest Steve Nieve on the last 10 songs.

Night 5 of 10 of EC's no repeat residency at the tiny Gramercy Theatre in New York City. Billed as a night of solo Elvis, but during I'll Wear It Proudly an unannounced Steve Nieve waltzes down the aisle playing the accordion melody on melodica. He had apparently just arrived from France - and remained for the rest of the show. Great show and great recording, with many very rare tunes played. There will be more uploads of these shows. Samples below. Again, there are many great stories from EC and more poignant words about Burt Bacharach, Elvis' friend and collaborator who passed away the night before this run of shows started. Recorded from a few feet from the mains.

24bit 48K recording. If you still burn to CD, it's pretty easy to convert the files to CD specs. Most burning programs do it internally. If burning, break before The Puppet Has Cut His Strings. If not, the show will play seamless.
