After playing Bumbershoot in Seattle, EC played a couple of stand alone shows with the Imposters in Northern California. I put up Saratoga a few days ago. Here's Rohnert Park.

Another great show. About half the songs were different than 9/2, including three more songs from Wise Up Ghost. Another stellar venue - basically a symphony hall - but it didn't sound as fantastic as the Mountain Winery. The mains here hung very high, hence the sound was further away. Still a great sounding recording. EC and the band again at the top of their game. These shows are probably as close as we will get to a Wise Up Ghost Imposter tour - and songs from that album sound great. Samples below.

Best moment - Many songs at these shows were callouts from EC to the band. Towards the end of the night he clues the band in on the next number by pointing down at his Red Shoes.

The Last Year Of My Youth is a full band version with EC playing his Jazzmaster. He started out the show playing the '52 Telecaster, but unless playing acoustic, he played the Jazzmaster almost the rest of the night. One Bell Ringing was with the Fiesta Red Stratocaster, and it is great.
