Elvis seems to be having a grand old time at these shows, busting out the most garish sports jackets you've ever seen and yukking it up with the crowd, as well as playing unusually impassioned renditions of his songs accompanied by ridiculous onstage go-go dancing. Attendance at these shows is pretty much mandatory, so if you're in a town it'll be hitting in the weeks ahead, please be sure to go -- you won't regret it.

This recording turned out pretty well aside from some low levels -- which didn't do the slightly muddy sound mix any favors -- and a wildly overenthusiastic woman clapping along beside me at inappropriate times. It might benefit from some fine-tuning, upping and brightening the sound, but I'm giving it to you exactly as it came out of my recorder.

Please share, feel free convert to anything you like, definitely encourage your friends to attend these Spinning Songbook concerts, and if possible record and share in turn any of the shows that you see!
