Fan-captured in the middle of Elvis' second tour of 1975, a
twelve-day/seventeen-concert journey through the southern
U.S. that would yield Elvis & The Colonel $800K to split.
Elvis appears fit, wearing a variety of jumpsuits he
hadn't recently been able to fit in. The shows are more
upbeat, rockin' and fun than what had become the standard
for era. Several multi-track recordings are made by RCA,
pieces of which would find release officially in 1980 on
"Elvis Aron Presley" (AKA The Silver Box set). This bootleg
features the afternoon 2:30pm show and has yet to surface as
a soundboard recording. This bootleg features an average-
sounding, distant audience tape, typical of the era but low in
generation and presented here in probably the best condition
audibly that this tape source is capable of being presented.
Until a superior audience tape or multi-track soundboard source
finds it's way to us, Touchdown's "Shreveport '75" will remain
the best source of this concert. Considering this tour featured
great performances, even average audience-sourced tapes such as
this are valuable to hardcore collectors of The King.

An incomplete multi-track soundboard tape of the evening show
was chosen for official release on FTD's "Another Saturday Night."
