First up in an incredible night of music was something I was honestly dreading, an Elvis Costello cover band in the voice and form of Elvis Presley. But, as a big Elvis Costello and Presley fan I gotta say, this was damn fine entertainment. The band is tight and Mr Prestello has a fine voice and really gives it his all. He’s got all the Presley mannerisms, both physically and vocally down. He looked like a middle-age Costello dressed like middle-age Presley with a Costello tie and shirt visible at the neck line.
Here’s a youtube video of “Goon Squad” I shot with my iPhone:

Hey! Check out the Charity! Its a good thing!
http://www.musack.org/
MUSACK is a charity that provides musical instruments, scholarships and cultural exchanges for children. Founded by writer producer Donick Cary, (who started it for his hometown high school on Nantucket Island), MUSACK funds are directed towards “at risk” and under-served kids.
The MUSACK mission is to:
Provide guitars with instruction to children.
Support and sponsor musical and cultural exchanges and field trips.
Offer music scholarships to talented kids who want to pursue the study of music in college.
In 2013, MUSACK plans to expand into Los Angeles, California. Specifically bringing its guitar and instruction programming to at risk and underpriveliged kids in central LA.
