LDB Special Series #135
Out of my 7,000+ shows and radio broadcasts, I have many concerts that were special for some reasons: the setlist, the
musicians, the venue or unexpected events. These are the ones I'd like to propose you. Most of these come from my
cassettes collection, so they will be released at a slower pace than my Master Series! But you won't be disappointed!
I will try to gather the most unusual things I have in my collection and, as always, your feedback and comments will be my
reward for all the work involved in this project.
DO NOT share this music on mp3, just convert it for your own use. Sharing mp3's is the right way to make me stop sharing
music here.
EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER
New York, Beacon theater
November 15, 1993 (full set)
01.From the Beginning
02.Still...You Turn Me On
03.C'est la Vie
04.Lucky Man
05.I Believe in Father Christmas
Greg Lake - vocals, acoustic guitar
Keith Emerson - keyboards
Greg Lake - drums, percussions
This is an interesting 'acoustic' set from ELP at the Beacon theater. Interesting to hear these acoustic versions with the
three musicians, where in the standard tour 1992-1997 it was Greg Lake only. Also, we get a special version of I Believe in
father Christmas which was never performed on tour. Soundwise this is a solid 8+. Some noise from the audience when the band
got announced but then a pretty nice sound across the whole performance.
