Emmylou Harris has always bucked the country trends and her 1988 tour was no exception, avoiding songs from her Grammy Award winning "Trio" as well as only playing one song from the previous four releases, the tour paid homage to the great songwriters that clearly influenced her career.

There is a lot to love in this show, quality is very good (samples provided) and there are spectacular performances throughout. The double shot of "I Am A Poor Wayfaring Stranger" and "The Boxer" is worth the download alone.

There are not nearly enough Emmylou shows in this world and I hope this one is a welcome addition...highly recommended.
