Live performance in which Emmylou Harris presents her ten rules of what makes a great country song, personally chosen from her own extensive repertoire. Filmed in Los Angeles in an intimate venue, the show features songs with Emmylou accompanied by her blue grass band. Each track illustrates one of her 10 Commandments, with a short introduction to explain why it was chosen and what element of country music it best represents.

* The 2021 rebroadcast is at 1920x1080i, compared to 1440x1080i
* The 2021 rebroadcast is at a much lower video bitrate; 4.472 vs 15.7Mbps (2.0G overall vs 6.79G). The codec / encoding parameters will have been changed (multiple times) over the intervening years; the newer encoding might not be as accurate, but is certainly much more efficient.
* The channel logos are different, but more or less equally ignorable. The 2007 "BBC HD" DOG is smaller but less transparent than the 2021 "BBC Four" DOG.
* The 2021 rebroadcast / main audio is DD 2.0 @ 192kbps compared to DD 5.1 @ 384kbps; however in the the 2007 broadcast the surround and centre channels are silent (so that broadcast was effectively 2.0 with an unnecessarily high bitrate)
* The 2021 rebroadcast is not identical; although I cut the start of the video to line up with the 2007 version, by the 14 minute mark the video streams are 10 frames off. I didn't check any further; the overall programme is 2 seconds longer in the 2021 broadcast / edit.
