For his third trip to Paris, la Pomme d'Eve, (the first in July 2005, the second in July 2006), Eric andersen was accompanied by Stan, a french blues guitarist with a deep feeling and a very nice guy.
That changed a little bit the color of Eric songs and made this show very interesting because of this particuliar bluesy mood.
Actually, Eric arrived in Paris the day before the show because he wanted to see his old buddy Leonard Cohen who was in the city of lights, on tour with his wife Anjani Thomas. So we went, Eric, Stan , my friend Hervé and me, to see Anjani's concert and meet Leonard after the show.... what a thrill !
We ask Leonard to be the guest at la Pomme d'Eve for the Eric's show but he declined because he was too busy and tired... could have been great !
So this one looks very special for me...
Eric payed a first set with Stan and then ask Inge to come on stage for the second set. Some songs were played on the old unplugged piano of the club.
