Eric Bibb And JJ Milteau, Agen-France Cap Cinema, 21 january 2017, SM aud master

From the Leadbelly tour (most of the songs are from him or based on traditionals he played).

I prefer Eric Bibb playing this kind of music, not the world stuff he did with African musician Habib Koite.
We had a great evening listening to old blues / folk-gospel-blues material, with JJ doing great job on harmonica.
After the end of the show, in the streets, it was funny to hear people singing the "Needed Time" gospel performed as the last encore !

Recorded from the 3d row, right side, using :
2 x DPA 4099 supercard mics - DAD6001 - Zoom H5 (48/24), phantom on.
Downsampled 44/16 wav to PC, Audacity (slight eq, volume, tracks), FLAC 8 (TLH).

Eric Bibb, 6 & 12 strings guitars
Jean Jacques Milteau, Harmonica, story teller
Denis Michel, bass
