Recorded by dear SANDHOOS somewhere close to the stage or @ soundbord booth...Original recording came already tracked with very "boomy" sound. Pasted and cleaned up some annoying hollers,
as well as increasing the high and midth and lowered the deep end. Sounds a bit better now, though still...an outdoor recording...almost no chatters audible, vocals and instruments are
quite clear in the mix. Somehow...unfortunately no pics...

Just a few days after his fabulous great show at lovely Burg Herzberg Festival, Mr. Burdon put on an equal fantastic show at this FREE SHOW (part of a "bike ralley" in Frankonia sponsored
by BR 3 radio, as far as I remember). All the great songs of the ANIMALS are here, some good old blues classics as well, maybe "Spill the wine" is missing here, but giving all the great
songs this "grande" artist wrote/recorded/played in his history would've taken at least a 3+ hours show. As he's turning 75 years of young age in a few weeks, still touring (these upcoming
days in Australia) and being responsible for my first almost "tinitus" back in 1986 at Jovel Music Hall in Mnster - one of the first club concerts I've seen - yes...indeed...this was a
real special one. About his performances at Burg Herzberg Festival, I'm a bit more mixed in mind...twice he got to do his job in the very early morning hours, and on that second time in
2003 "tapers" were haunted by the security enforced by his road manager(in). But the 2009 show was a fabulous one, that I did not tape, but - considering those threats - did not tape but
enjoyed lazing on the lawn and puffing some clouds...SB.
