Rated by Geetarz as a SB5. Unfortunately, this show saw three tunes officially released. Geetarz commented, "A true soundboard (as opposed to a radio mix) that starts off with only the drums, then other instruments are faded in. There are a couple of large volume fluctuations as the soundboard operator adjusts the mix. In the second song, 'Worried Life Blues,' there is a section where all but the drums drop out of the mix momentarily. This 1996 Tarantura release is great, and a keystone of a decent Clapton collection - recommended."
"Filmmaker Rex Pike was given unprecidented access on-state and off to film a fly-on-the-wall style documentary. Over 120 rolls of film were shot across Europe and in England. Edited to roughly 2 hours, "Eric Clapton And His Rolling Hotel" was shown at a few film festivals, but never released. This concert was filmed (3 cameras) and recorded in its entirety for the documentary project" (ref. http://www.whereseric.com/eric-clapton-tour/24/11/1978)
