"Incomplete uncirculated source"
Okay, here's the deal with this recording.I received the 1st gen cassette from the taper
but this source recording has remained uncirculated for several reasons:
*Due to mini-plug and/or patch cord problems during recording, one channel kept cutting out
*The taper must have got a "late start" because the first song is
"I Shot The Sheriff".The first two openers probably would have been
"Crossroads" and "White Room".
*There are occaisional drop-outs at the beginning, but that issue eventually goes away.
The good point is that the quality that is there is great, being He used the Nakamichi CM-300
mics. The one good channel has been patched into a Y adapter to split the one good signal
into two, thus making this a "monaural" recording,(from source cassette deck to DAT input).
There are occaisional volume fluctuations here and there, but nothing too major.
Very little crowd noise,if any at all.
No equalization was used.
Recomended for the Clapton completist, who has to has everything.
