Real nice show with pretty good sound. Patrons were sober (!), behaving and LISTENING, theres only a bit of (of course highly unnecessary) chatter during Blues Power.

I was a bit late as I had been trying to sell off my 2nd ticket outside of the venue no avail. Seems everybody buys their tickets in advance & online, there days. Still, I was able sneak through the dense front crowd in the all standing area, and positioned myself in about the 20th row and pretty much centered.

As far as I could judge (and I always enjoy taking looks around and to the crowds in the back to catch the feel) it was a sell-out affair which would prove it really dosent matter any longer how Es respective new studio album sells or turns out, quality-wise.

I did enjoy the show and Big E seemed inspired and pretty much relaxed. I was glad BADGE was back in as Im a Badge nut, and Doyle again played some nice licks during the grande finale "Love is my Badge" section. Alas, that songs inclusion went at the expense of good ol Sheriff which I always enjoy a lot, too. Also, I did like Gotta Get Over. It has a nice first solo albumfeel to it and gives our hero some space to stretch out a bit. Id be happy if he kept this ditty in his set list on future tours.

I transferred digitally from my DAT walky to my Philips standalone CD-R burner with no fumbling/doctoring/adjusting etc. at all. This is the first time I used my new Sony mic. The recording represents pretty well what I remember how the show sounded so I guess it was a good purchase - but please judge yourself.
