Introduction (retrieved from the EC Tourography at www.ectours.de)

An all-star open-air charity concert in aid of Cancer Relief Macmillan Nurses took place at Wintershall Estate in Bramley, Surrey. Peter and Ann Hutley had opened the ground of their home at Wintershall Estate to an invitation only audience. As he did for a similar event last year (02-Jul-1988), Eric once again joined the Band du Lac as they were jokingly called because of the stage's location at the foot of the lake.

The Band du Lac consisted of:
Eric Clapton Guitar, Vocals
Phil Collins Drums, Vocals
Mike Rutherford Guitar
Gary Brooker Keyboards, Vocals
Steve Winwood Keyboards, Vocals
Andy Fairweather Low Guitar, Vocals
Sam Brown Vocals
Vicky Brown Vocals
Margo Buchanon Vocals
Carol Kenyon Vocals
Dave Bronze Bass
Henry Spinetti Drums
Mel Collins Saxophone
Frank Mead Saxophone
Danny Hammond Percussion

Geetarz Comments:

There have been many of these "all star charity events" through the years, but this is one of my all time favorites, just a great show to put on and "groove" to ...
