Soundboard Tapes
The source came from 3 different Cassette Tapes (all different brands)out of a box.
I guess these were playback sample tapes for the Band (sometimes the songs end with a very sharp tape cut after the last chord of a song.Thats why I didnt fade them out everytime.Sometimes there where sections the were no cut and I let them roll....a few times I could fade out the audience before a cut.
I think it runs smooth now.
The recordings are made within a 3 night run,so the songs come from 3 different nights.......Tommy Carlise sat in for some......
.......the songs are very extented.....a lot of jamming going on......"Things I think....Ill find"... for example sounds like the Grateful Dead doing Dark Star in the beginning, then ......!!!!
They were right on the SPOT these nights ...way back when !!!
Soundboard > Cassette Tapes > Maxell XL II-S (my copies) >Audio CD > Wave > Flac > Dime > enjoy !!!
....they never played the same show twice the same way.......pure energy !! They took the late night club onto the big Stage.
They had about 130 songs back then.
Great Blend of R&B,Blues,Rock,Phsyedelic......played the southern way.
They just owned the Strip ,Piedmont Park...... just like the Booger Band,The Sweet Younguns, the Allman Bros. etc.....everybody played with everybody...in places like the Bottom of the Barrel,The Bowery,HotLanta.......
ENJOY !!!
