* Eric Steckel let me record both Shows at Havana, April 14th & 15th.
Crowd was a little loud for this audience recording, still the performance
and recording make up for it!
The Band:
Eric Steckel: Guitar & Vocals
Nick Franclik: Bass Guitar
Duane Trucks: Drums
Wayne Smith: Organ
Let me tell you this was one smokin show, Eric Steckel at 16 years plays like
theres no tomorrow. Just when you thought he played something amazing, there's
still more to come, one tasty lick after another. He borrows from the great ones
and pays homage in true fashion.Someone just told me he get's better by the show,
I have to agree after seeing him almost 6 months ago, he is growing in leaps and bounds
his voice is starting to mature as well as his sound which is unique and has been since
he picked up the guitar.
Eric Steckel has magic in his hands, since he picked up the guitar he started learning
songs immediately, he's been playing live since around 11 years old and with a couple of cd's
under his belt, he's finally going to start headlining shows in Europe this year, he's just
getting started, one can only imagine what the future holds for this amazing talent.
If you don't know who Eric Steckel is, you will.
