Thanx Eric For Allowing Me To Record All Your Shows!
About The Show: ( Leiderplatz )
This Show And The Next Day's Show's Were A Little Differant Than Usual
As Of Late, Being That Craig Thatcher Was Playing At Another Gig For Both
Show's, Eric was On His Own Again Showing Off His Slippery Quick Speed And
His Ever Evolving Presence Onstage.
Also At This Show Was Longtime Friends Robert Sands Who Played The Whole Set
On Keyboards Trading Licks With Eric On Guitar, Prompting Eric To Improvise
His Guitar Skills When Robert Showboated Quite A Bit,
Later On Mike Esposito, A Steel Guitar Master & Lap Guitar Virtuoso Joins The
Band For A Couple Of Tunes, First With "Hey Joe" Done Very Differantly In A Delta
Blues Format, Then They Do An Unknown Jam Remiscent Of Johnny Winter, Rick Derringer.
The Shows Ends With Eric's "Something Better", Kinda Similar To SRV's Life Without
You In That Eric's Emotion's Run Deep On This One As He Tries To Connect With His
Audience, Talking A Little And Really Letting The Guitar Take You Somewhere Special,
What I Hear Again Is Eric Trying To Find His Own Sound As He Unleashes Some Wicked
Riffs Here, This Time After Throwing Some Van Halen Licks Around And Venturing Into
Eric Johnson Territory He Launches A Blistering Pepper Of Sounds That Would Make
Johnny Winter Nod.
