I have posted the first 3 Live From Gilley's shows from encore releases due to
condition (I hate fixing skips) or availability (never seen 81-1),
so this is the earliest vinyl show I've posted.

Encores of the first 3 shows are already on here...Loretta Lynn, Ronnie Milsap and Moe & Joe.

I can't find any information on this particular show or that it exists. Just a little Ernest
Tubb a few years before he died, then Gary Stewart. Google Gary Stewart if you
aren't familiar with him. Time Magazine called him the "King of Honky Tonk."
It was probably a bit risque for country radio in 1981 and it was never repeated.

I think this show is a perfect example of the dichotomy in American music then and to an extent, now.
Tubb and Stewart sing about about the same things, but Stewart is more detailed/graphic.
Stewart himself says for listeners to get the kids out of the room and acknowledges that he
has been cut off from the radio once or twice due to his music.

Label scan included.
