Yet another casualty of an insufficiently prepared upload on dime tracker,
with a torrent file that said "ee" no sound sample and a very partial setlist,
it was little surprise that this didn't last very long in 1st post, and
rather obvious that it was posted when I was still learning how to post torrents.
When I first seeded this (#185731) I misspelled Ernie's last name which
no doubt confused alot of people. The sound files are the same except I
have added the track titles to both the info and sound files. So instead
of a pure reseed since it's that time of year, time to sortakinda reseed this.
This is Ernie and his band's whole set including radio announcers
at beginning, 2 encore breaks and closing comments. There's only 1 tape
flip which is between songs, nothing missing there. It's spliced, so this
is a seamless recording with some funk, soul, rhythm & blues, rock and
pop style. Any help with unknown titles would be welcome. The sound in
Nightstage is very nice and so too the sound of this broadcast which
was not a recorded broadcast- it was broadcasted live as it happened
and the signal was clean that night. The Star Spangled Banner is done
in a Jimi Hendrix style. I think I've only traded this once on cassette.
The guy loved it. So here it is for the 1st time in true 3 step torrent form,
which means in this case, only my master cassette, reciever, one conversion
to WAV and 1 to FLAC, between you and this fine concert. Nothing was edited out
or speed adjusted to make it fit on 1 disc. Other than the flip splice and
level balancing, no processing has been done to this recording and I don't
think it needs anything. I've never seen Ernie Eisley, but they say he can
play guitar right and left-handed, and he plays pretty well. Sounded like
the crowd had a very good time, very enthusiastic response and they got the
same in return. It's nice when that happens at a concert (or anywhere else).
So for (possibly) the first time here on dime is this show, definitely the
first time it has been available this way direct from my master tape which
didn't have any problems that I noticed at all. I haven't played it alot.
Do not sell this recording.
Trade freely and losslessly.
