here is some psychedelic/avantgarde nightmare from around Milano: their sound varies from long-form drones to short sketches of almost song like structure, mystical psychedelia that would in turn reminds of Third Ear Band, La Monte Young, My Cat is An Alien, Sunburned Hand Of The Man or John Fahey. But I always hear early seventies Pink Floyds...

Malgrado il loro nome appaia ironico gli Eternal Zio si pongono in un modo per nulla tranquillizzante. Voci d'oltretomba fanno da contorno ad un suono ricco e vivo, fatto di strumenti e apparecchiature di vario genere: violino, timpano, percussioni, rullante, chitarra, strumentazioni elettroniche. Il folk ancestrale si macchia di psichedelia, che si imbrunisce a sua volta di un'estetica esoterica e trascendente. Il gruppo di Milano i cui componenti, anche singolarmente, sono molto attivi nella scena noise/rock del momento, � composto da Rella The Woodcutter e Maurizio Abate - gi� ascoltati diverse volte a Battiti - Valla e Roberto, cui si aggiunge Ilce all'elettronica e alla voce. Li ascoltiamo in una ripresa dal vivo avvenuta sabato 30 novembre a Ivrea durante un loro concerto per il festival Musiche Possibili.
