Weird night! An old girlfriend from NY called me and asked if i get some Etta James
artifact for her daughter who was a fan. i figured id drive over and tape the show!

As i was getting off the freeway a non native driver decided it would be a good idea
to stop his car dead on the offramp and try to get back on the freeway. Crash!

After I made my way over to the fillmore with my gear and quickly found out that the show was 'sold out'!
Scalper wanted $150 - which i wouldnt pay, and no one came along with an extra for sale!

I hung around for an hour or so, and finally the guard at the door asked me why i didnt go in?
I told him i didnt have a ticket and he motioned me up the stairs, stamped me, and comped me in !
just in time as Etta came on the stage!
After the show, on the way out i got a poster!
Etta later signed it for the girlfriends daughter! so alls well that ends well!

Crowd was a little noisy - but not too bad.
