The Everly Brothers November 28, 2005 Regent Theatre Ipswich, England band: Phil Cranham (electric and upright bass) Pete Wingfield (keyboards) Tony Newman (drums) Albert Lee (guitar) Pat Severs (guitar and pedal steel guitar) source: Minidisc recorder --> PC --> CD This is a partial recording of what is currently the last show the Everly Brothers have played. Another recording by my friend Paul. His levels were too loud, so he made a CD of some of the quieter moments of the show. Luckily, the 2005 tour featured a beautiful, extended acoustic set. That is included in full, as are some other great "numbers." Enjoy, and make sure to share your Everly recordings. They're so hard to find, but clearly there are quite a few of us who are thrilled to come across ANYTHING new from their fifty-plus years of performing. Let's hope they keep going. Would a few live-in-studio acoustic albums be too much to ask? I think that's just what all of our music libraries could use... See also: 9/24/72, uploaded a few minutes ago. I have a few more shows that I can upload if there's interest. I'd like to see you guys post some more stuff. Got one of their shows on an old cassette tape with mediocre sound? Let's hear it. :) Mail it to me if you don't feel like doing the dirty work. 1. "Kentucky" 2. "So Sad (To Watch Good Love Go Bad)" 3. "Crying In The Rain" 4.
