Original Notes:
Very good audience recording from the Faces' final tour. I'd give this a B+. There is a small break between LOSING YOU and BIG BAYOU, and some dude keeps blowing a party whistle through out the concert in between songs. Other wise a very nice show especially considering it's an audience recording from 1975! I bought this (stones me, I know - hey this was before DIME and other trade sites) off ebay about 5 years ago.
Tetsu Yamauchi had replaced Ronnie Lane on bass, & the set list revolved pretty much around Rod's solo work at this point. Of 14 songs (YOU WEAR IT WELL & MAGGIE MAY counting as 2 songs) only 3 songs are actual Faces songs, the rest are all Rod songs even though Faces played on most of them when he recorded the album. Interestingly, Rod does THREE TIME LOSER from his solo album "Atlantic Crossing" in the set list, & Ronnie Wood sings BIG BAYOU, which Rod would do on his next solo album "A Night On The Town". Also MEMPHIS is given sort of a make-over, as it sounds a bit faster and played a bit different on this tour.
A solid show and a must have for Rod/Faces fans.
Please do not sell, trade freely, and enjoy!
