NOTES:

It's a little strange to me that in all the years that I've attended music festivals (starting in 2005) I had never once seen the Flaming Lips (nor had they even played a festival I was at), which was odd because they are quite often labled as "festival whores". So I find it sort of funny that the place and festival that I finally see them for the first time is in Napa, CA of all places, the town I grew up in and called home for 25 years. If you would have told me 10 years ago that the first time you'll see the Flaming Lips is at the Napa Fairgrounds, I would have told you to get lost...but it's 2013, and Napa has it own festival now, and yes I travelled back "home" to catch the Flaming Lips there for the very first time and I couldn't have been happier.
