Recorder with internal mics on recorder from the first row of the upper general addmission area at The Warfield. The recorder was sitting on the "Bubble Landing Platform" as is evident at the begining of "Vein of Stars" as a stage hand had to bump us back a minute to help direct Wayne to the platform while in his bubble, sorry this results in some recorder noise and a muffled start to the song. This is recorded in the middle of the crowd and as such has lots of upfront cheering and crowd sing alongs (Please forgive them everyone was having a good time and they are mostly dear people to me). There is some contact noise from ballons in a couple spots but not too obnoxious. There is some compression and very slight EQ mostly to get the cheers under control and bring the overall level of the show up a bit. It was recorded with bass rolloff so the low end was heavier at the show (feel free to turn up the low end <120) I did not go to this show intending to "record" this show so much as I just wanted to have fun and experience the Lips at a NYE show so this turned out better than anticipated and I probably would not have shared this otherwise but it was requested to be shared by a few good folks at slow-nerve-action.com and so I am releasing this into the wild.
