comments:
more from the not heard (of) on etree dept... (they don't even list 78 as a year for Flora
or Airto playing concerts, but it was, and a rather busy one it was for them too)....
I was just going to up 2 Flora shows, and now there are 5 of them. I guess 2 wasn't enough.
This is the inferior sounding one of them, because it has some static in it. George Duke was
on this program too and the recording of that is awful (very loud static). This one isn't as
bad as I thought and it is a nice performance. There is static off and on, but it's not very
loud and otherwise not too bad a recording. I think the only tape flip was between songs.
This is from an NPR recorded broadcast (Jazz Alive). Although NPR live broadcast quality at
this time still left alot of room for improvement, their recorded ones sounded great (when
there was no static in reception), stereo and full high fidelity (up to 15 KHZ anyway, that's
the legal limit for all U.S. FM radio.) This one runs almost an hour.
Do not sell this recording.
Trade freely and losslessly.
Keep Purim pure. (even when
with static accompanyment).
