It's a SPACEBANDIT, so you're in there!

Rec.Info:
OKM2R -> Zoom H2n (at WAV 16/44) -> SDcard -> HD -> Audacity (edit/volume boost only) -> WAV 16/44 -> TLH8 -> FLAC -> DIME -> YOUR EARS AND MIND...
Recorded by yours truly as usual first row dead center stage edge, unfortunately without the aid of a barstool as a lazy old loon like me likes it. A few minor distractions from
some chatting people at the start, and a few yells and hollers here an there, but latter only gives you an impression of the fabulous "mood" inside the Forum. Overall system sound
started a bit muddy but nicely improved after a few songs. The room was not packed but very much crowded. A few real crappy pics are included as well.

I simply LOVE this band, or better I simply LOVE these guys from Baltimore, Maryland, USA. If there would be a contest about "The most audience friendly band in the world", I would give
them a 10 of 10! Even more, as this was a sort of "homecoming concert", cause THE FLYING EYES have built up a strong "fanbase" over the years in this town that doesn't really exist
(if you know the modern fairytale about Bielefeld). Unfortunately me and brother Martin (thanks for the drive!) arrived a little late for the first act of this triple bill on that
evening (I was told an offspinn of MAGNIFICIENT BROTHERHOOD, sigh....), which I missed as I was excited to meet the guys, who were doing a table-soccer game. I was struck by lightning
that they immediately recognized me longtime fan/friend, even though I missed them in 2013. After some hugs and chats it was time to loot the merch and for some signing. Next time I'll
have a better camera for some "selfies" or whatever it is called. I don't care too much about that, I'd better have a beer, smoke and talk, which was perfect outside the Forum that day.
So, after a way cool second opening set by LAZLO LEE AND THE MOTHERLESS CHILDREN (taped) it was showtime!
They started with three "older" (or should I say "vintage"?) songs and I was positively surprised how much their sound had changed within the 4 years since I saw them the first time at
BURG HERZBERG FESTIVAL, when they opened the friday in blazing heat at noon, jumping in for another (cancelled) band. Back then they sounded like a modern version of THE DOORS (which I
really enjoyed), but from the constant touring over the years here in Europe, they sought in different styles and improved their musical spectrum to - what my opinion is - one of the
finest PSYCHEDELIC STONER ROCK bands around on this planet. Not only were the "older" tunes played with a lot more heavy edge, the three new tracks (not on any album available yet, due
to be released next spring) were also impressive and will give you dear fellow listeners a good glimpse on what to expect from this fine combination of four much talented great humans.
Ok, I'm gonna stop my "advertising" right now and let the music do the talking. LIghten one up, fasten your seatbelts and off we go... SB.
