comments:
Ever wonder where the Celtics, Patriots and Red Sox all
wind up their paths to championship in Boston victory parades?
Right where this concert happened. There have been a few shows there,
I only saw a couple and this was probably the best show I saw there.
so from a place where teams that couldn't be topped spoke of their
triumphant glory, I present a group that was never topped. The Four
Tops are an essential staple in American music history with
several huge hits on the soul/R & B charts in the 1970's, if
I didn't hear music of the Supremes/ Four Tops or other
Motown sounds blaring out of the art room in junior high school,
(long before it was renamed "Charlie Brown Jr. High School")
it could only mean one of 4 things.
1: schoolwide power failure
2: art classes not in session
3: fire drill in progress.
4: school vacation week.
I haven't listened much to them recently, but it got to the point where
if I didn't hear Motown music, much of it from the Four Tops, I didn't feel
like I was in school, and it was actually a reason to look forward to going
to school.
Do not sell this recording.
Trade freely and losslessly.
this was a free concert.
keep it that way.
