Audio quality:
This is a passable audience recording of the gig, but not brilliant. Location of mics wasn't ideal (right beside Joe's monitor and right in front of Graham's drum kit with a rattly hi-hat). Closest PA was also buzzing at times. Glen's vocal is a bit low in the mix at times, but that probably couldn't be helped. Overall volume in the venue was VERY loud, and definitely pushed the mics to their limit. Audience noise is tolerable, as there wasn't too much chatter at the front. Myles O'Reilly (Arbutus Yarns) and his team videoed the entire show on DSLRs, so there will almost certainly be a video release of some if not all of the show with a desk feed to look forward to. In the interim, I hope this recording goes some of the way towards capturing what was an amazing gig that we were privileged to have witnessed.
