Frank Lowe's Saxemble live at DC Space, May 19, 1990

From the master Fuji FR II cassettes, recorded from the front row of tables, center, with a Sony Walkman Pro using a single-point stereo Aiwa mike. Saxemble consisted of Frank Lowe (tenor sax), James Carter (tenor and baritone saxes), Gary Windo (alto sax), Michael Marcus (soprano and baritone saxes, strich), and Reggie Nicholson (drums).

Just discovered at the end of an unrelated and partially-labelled cassette, the existence of this brief (less than 6 minutes) version of Sonnymoon for Two had been completely forgotten. It may be the final encore, but given the very loose nature of the performance and the mood of the audience, it seems more likely to have been a last minute soundcheck that preceded the first set.
