Leave Me Alone - Ray Agee, Frank Zappa, Shuggie Otis


Just one song here. Digging around a friend's box of vintage reel-to-reel tapes I found an episode of "The Johnny Otis Show" taped off the air from KPPC-FM, Los Angeles, circa 1970. Frank Zappa is Johnny's special guest. For most of the hour they spin old records,
but this torrent is limited to one live-in-the-studio performance by Ray Agee backed by Frank Zappa and Shuggie Otis on guitars. Frank tells a little story to start, then Johnny Otis urges Shuggie to lend Frank a guitar and they launch into an impromptu blues. Excellent sound quality. Excellent one-of-a-kind performance!
