This show was transferred from a reel that I received in trade in about 1973-4 from someone in NC. This should be a low-generation copy, since trades were not as widespread then as they are now, but I have no way of knowing. Some hiss is present, and I wish the frat boys in the right channel would've found seats further away from the taper. Still, I suspect that this version could be better than the copies of this show that are now in circulation.
The levels fluctuate slightly throughout the tape, so occasionally one channel is louder than the other. I did not attempt to correct the moment-to-moment changes, but instead just peak normalized the two main chunks of this tape.
Long medleys were left intact, rather than piecing them out. I also removed a couple of silent passages out between songs. Not a millisecond of the show was lost during this process.
Aside from DC offset correction and the peak normalizing, I have not EQed, de-noised, or used any other "re-mastering" technique. What you hear is what is on the reel. Feel free to re-edit/remaster as you see fit.
