Frank Zappa Chicago Uptown Theater September 29th 1978 Early Show (did not tape late)



My very first hi fi stereo live recording. Killer sound and the highest quality control
in 1978, for a stealth recording for sure. My backup batteries failed and caused
the incomplete recording. Due to the HUGE hassle at the small door, I did not dare try to
bring in the recorder after the seen I made at the early show. Besides, my backup batteries
failed beyond repair. More later on this explanation. Killer sounding guitar solos on this
that make the whole download worth the listen. Please play this on your best stereo system!!

Played through the Naim Audio NAC-52 pre-amp
to the Teac CDR-2000 Standalone.
Mastered to Taiyo Yuden gold satin 74-ZY CDR's
PC drive.....Plextor UltraPlex40max CDR-ROM SCSI W/adaptec 2930
