Frank Zappa Chicago Uptown Theater November 28th 1980 Early Show (did not tape late)



I was first row in a five row mezzanine just 12 feet above the last few rows on the main floor.
I sat the mics on the ledge for the entire show and not one close sound from the audience can
be heard. I was disappointed at the reverberant field I got on this. The high end is just there
and the overall sound is a bit distant. But then again, don't listen to me. I am way too picky.
I must have not been a big enough fan yet because I did not shell out for all four shows. Looking
back, I wished I did. Great capture overall and the entire show is here. Enjoy!! RB
