Frank Zappa

Recorded live on June 30th 1991 at
Bucse Festival - Budapest, Hungary

This recording is sadly Frank Zappa's final public performance.
The band consisted of FZ and 4 Hungarian (Gypsy) jazz musicians who were
invited to support FZ. There was a soundcheck in the morning (Track 1),
where they played for about 15 mintues. In the evening, FZ was introduced
by Mayor Gabor Demszky, who had invited him to Budapest for the Summer Bucse Festival.
Then Frank says the song they're going to play will be called "One Of A Kind".
They Jammed for about 20 minutes, and then came back for a 10 minute Encore.
That was it. Frank doesn't play too much, most of the time he let the band
play (or conducted it) and waits for the right moment to join in.
My favorite is the soundcheck. His guitar sounds really beautiful.
This performance has never been officially released.
Tracks 1-4 are recorded from the audience with a HI8 video camera.
Track 5 is from the TV broadcast of the show..which is soundboard..but edited
a bit, so it's not complete, like the audience recoding is. Anyway here's both!
Enjoy!

1. Soundcheck Jam
2. FZ Speech
3. One of a Kind
4. Two of a Kind
5. Full TV Broadcast

Tracks 1-4 from low gen audience video
