"200 Motels" Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, Zubin Mehta and the Los Angeles Philharmonic

This is a CDr rip directly from the TMOQ vinyl. Pops and clicks were mostly removed by Sound Forge. Some might still remain, as I didn't want to remove too much of the sound.

When my vinyl collection was reorganized by a friend a couple of years ago, I was surprised to find two completely different copies of this album. One of them is the TMOQ version on purple vinyl, but the other was on black vinyl from a completely different set of plates.

The matrix was 746-1/2. This means that this is an East Coast pressing, and could be from the so-called "White Cover Folks", but more information than that I do not have. I don't even have the insert for this, just the plain white cover. If any of you have this version of the 200 Motels album and you have the insert, please scan it if you can. Thanks.

I still am completely surprised by the high quality of this recording.

Enjoy!
