Exquisite recording of a tremendous show with an augmented acoustic band, including some gorgeous fiddle work from someone named Julie (presumably Julie Pomerleau, who played with them a couple of times in 1999)
plus a full Freakwater performance of "Cry Our Little Eyes Out," which would later end up on Catherine Irwin's solo debut, "Cut Yourself A Switch." Anna Fermin's Trigger Gospel opened, and I think join in on Track 15,
but evidence is inconclusive, as it is for whether the pedal steel player throughout the set is indeed John Rice.
Finally, "20/20 Vision (And Walking Around Blind" is introduced as a Jimmy Martin song, but it was written by Joe Allison and Milton Estes, and was first recorded by Gene Autry, so annotate as you see fit.
