Freddie Hubbard - Newport Jazz Festival, Newport, RI 1985-08-17 (Jazamo Fix)
Here's a Freddie Hubbard set I picked up over TD recently. What can you say? A Historic Venue, great musicians, and a nice set list inspired me to fix the issues of this nice audience recording (see Jazamo fixes below). Billy Hart was late to the gig so Dan Gotleib (PMG) sat in for the first 2 songs. Many thanks to Chasingwilma for his original recording and sharing this set. Your Comments are appreciated!

Jazamo Fixes Feb 2012:
Tracks 1-3 were indexed in wrong location, and tracks 5 & 6 were originally one track. On Track-1 Intro was cut so I deleted 6 seconds to start song on right measure (check sample), also removed inaudible banter at the end of song. Track-2 had a either a tape flip or the recorder was turned off for a couple minutes in the middle of Richies solo and came back in the middle of freddie's so I removed Richie's solo and smoothed to an unoticable transition. On Track-4 added fade out on applause. Increased volume by +5db overall and in other various sections. Sector alignment and flac via traders little helper.
