FREDDIE KING

Indian Nations Amusement Park*, Tulsa
1975-05-26

SBD - VGEX

Lineage: 3rd generation (music) CD > EAC (log included) > flac (level 6)

Goody's additional lineage:
dBpoweramp (WAV) > Cool Edit Pro (Pitch Bender -1.8 semitones; Levels restored (Track 02); Tracking; Fades) >
Trader's Little Helper (FLAC Level 8, ffp)

This is a just about uncirculated gem sourced by AG, who was kind enough to send it
my way. When I first heard it even I could tell it was running way too fast.

Goody was even kinder to fix it up for us (including remastering a dicey patch in the
intro).

Thanks to AG and Goody (and the original sources).

Tracks:

01 unknown title (the band only) {partial} > (3:23)
02 Introducing Freddie > Big Legged Woman (8:22)
03 Woman Across The River (5:53)
04 TV Mama > (10:09)
05 Ain't No Sunshine > (5:44)
06 "Blues Band Shuffle" (8:12) - titled per one of the released videos but I'm not sure that's what he called it
07 Have You Ever Loved A Woman? (5:16)

TRT: 47:00

NOTE: The location above is as the recording carries it. Some investigation
indicates this park was in Jenks, OK (just outside Tulsa) but also was
closed in '1970 : "in 1969 Skyline management sold the park to a Tulsa liquor
distributor who renamed it Indian Nations Park, which closed a year later."

There is some chance they still did some concerts out there after the amusement
park part closed (or also that the specific location or the year is wrong). It
could well be from an earlier year since he's pretty fiery here.
