General thought about festivals, they are a lot of fun but not great for recording. A lot of talkers and vendors screaming out to sell beer. Is what it is. I moved around a lot trying to get away from some of it but there was no escaping it. Inside the stadium it echoes a lot. Outside the stadium there was quite a bit of wind.

My second time seeing Garfunkel and Oates. When I saw them on the schedule, I knew this was one show I was absolutely going to make. The Humor Me stage is in a tent and you can hear a bit of the bass thumping from one of the other stages nearby but it does not interfere with enjoying the show.

I knew nothing about this band when I decided to see their show at the festival. It was really based on how the schedule was falling. However, I am really glad I did. I thought they were really good and I am going to have to look for more of their music.
