Garth Brooks
Minneapolis, MN - The Center
October 6, 1998

This is the opening night of a 9-show run at the Target Center.

Recorded from top of lower level, side stage

Sony ECM-MS907 microphone > Sony WM-D3 recorder > Maxell XL II high bias cassette >
Sony TC-WR350Z > SoundSaver for INport > WAV > Trader's Little Helper > FLAC

One of the most exciting aspects of a Garth Brooks show is the crowd and this is the most passionate and loud crowd I have
ever been a part of. Every one of the 18,000 fans knows every word to every song and the cheers are deafening. It's a blast to be a part of
that atmosphere. However, that can affect recordings to a degree. This is a fairly clear recording with minimal "clappers" and "talkers" near
the mics, but the overall noise level in the venue elminates the peaks and valleys in the recording. Still, Garth's vocals are clear and it's
just fun to be part of this experience.
