The residency in Las Vegas is called "Garth Brooks/Plus ONE," the "Plus ONE" being Trisha Yearwood. The first show was on May 18, and there will be 27 shows in total this year & 18 in '24. Since all of the '23 dates were sold out on the first day of the presale, Brooks added dates in '24, and I suspect he will add more if the shows continue to be sold out.

Tracking the show was a challenge: The band played the introductory notes to a tune while Brooks was still talking, or Brooks choose to sing only the first few stanzas a tune before stopping. Plus, I don't really know his music. I used the setlist from the all knowing setlist.fm website.

I know Brooks has had the same band members forever, so I didn't bother writing them down here. Robert Bailey, who sings 'Shout,' is a longtime backup singer. Kudos to Brooks for sharing the spotlight to someone who ordinarily might go unnoticed.

I sent texts to five friends from work after ijwthstd sent me the WAV file of last night's show, and I received in return a collective text orgasm. So I will burn them copies. The only thing I edited out was the pause between 'Friends in Low Places' & 'Standing Outside the Fire' when the taper took a break. ijwthstd did not recommend a CD break so I put one in; otherwise, the files will play seamlessly. The crowd at this show was enthusiastic and loudly cheer at the appropriate places. I don't think there were anyone but huge fans attending that night.

**Based on what I edited out of the recording, I am presuming the taper took a break. He walked back to capture the bulk of the last tune.

There appear to be a bunch of YouTube videos uploaded. Here's one of the 'Shout' duet Brooks had with his backup singer, Robert Bailey. The video might give you an idea of the size & scope of the venue.
