Jerry Day Australia - A civic and cultural event celebrating one of the greatest rock guitarists of all time – Jerry Garcia, founding member of the iconic band The Grateful Dead, this event also actively shares and spreads the message of Peace, Love, Harmony and Equality through out the day with music, art and culture. Now in its 5th year in Australia, Jerry Day brings together diverse Australian musicians and artists from all walks of life to celebrate the life and the times of legendary musician Jerry Garcia. This year’s Jerry Day Australia One Love Festival event is very special. It features premier acts and bands – performing 60s and the 70s era music from legendary artists such as Bob Dylan, The Allman Brothers Band – and The Grateful Dead.
The stage and the festival experience is set to promote diversity, inclusion, peace and harmony.
Artists include Shakedown Prophets, Dead DownUnder, Geoff Achison & The Southbound Feet, Dylan and the Dead - Dylan covered, Easy Jim - Chloe and Jason Roweth and The Go Twos - Rosie McDonald and Nigel Lever . A variety of food trucks, tie dye & Grateful Dead merch, a bar, live DJ, psychedelic light show!
Taking place on the beautiful grounds of Addi Road Community Centre (Australia’s largest community centre) in Marrickville, Sydney, the event will create a festival experience with delicious food trucks and a carnival spirit. Come and celebrate the Day!
