George Harrison

10 November 1974

Long Beach Arena, California

Source - Let's hear one for Lord Buddha (Misspelled "Budda")(Publisher - RMG)

Itself probably a homemade copy of original vinyl bootleg

This is an audience recording in great stereo. Recorded at Long Beach, CA Nov. 10, 1974. The 1st & 5th song on side one are slightly clipped. Tracks 1-5 make up side one and the rest is side 2. You can also read an interview with the guy who taped this show in the book "Black Market Beatles". Most of the show is missing (interestingly, one reviewer below says Ravi Shankar opened the show, which would place it at odds with other shows of the tour, where the Indian sectin was in the middle).

1. Hari's On Tour (Express) (Harrison) 3:50
2. While My Guitar Gently Weeps (Harrison) 5:38
3. Something (Harrison) 3:41
4. Sue Me Sue You Blues (Harrison) 4:18
5. For You Blue (Harrison) 6:22
6. Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth) (Harrison) 3:39
7. In My Life (Lennon/McCartney) 5:58
8. Maya Love (Harrison) 5:10
9. Nothing From Nothing (Preston/Fisher) 3:43
10. My Sweet Lord (Harrison) 7:51

Total time 50:16

Bootlegzone reviews (edited) of LP:
"Pretty cool old bootleg because of the great sound quality. Very good (since the bootleg was pressed in 1974!) Though no complete concert, I love this record (as I love all of these old LPs... :-) There are various pressings of this boot around like the TAKRL or the TMOQ." beatlescollector, April 2004

"The recording was audience, and I found it to be poor (maybe good for that era) - lots of echo. I was at this concert, and Ravi Shankar, who opened the concert, was fantastiqe." crazyjack, June 2004

"This is a good recording, it was from the golden era of bootegs, wished it was a complete show, but something is better than nothing. While it looks as if there might have been more then one version of this album such as a TMQ release or a TAKRL release there is only really one release. There was a tight group that made records in the early days, they all knew wach other, if they ran out of something like labels, they just got some from a friend. I am amazed that it sounds as good as it does, the Long Beach Area was a bad place for concerts; it is round and you would get heavy ecco, the sound was so bad that major acts stopped playing there years ago. There was nothing like the days of popping into your local head shop and getting the latest bootlegs for #2.99 a disc. Where has the time gone?..." Mr._Starlight, 15 May 2005

Artwork, including some edited versions, included. And a frequency analysis if only to set my own mind at rest that it's not mp3 sourced...
