George Harrison
18 November 1974, Afternoon Show
Denver, Colorado, USA
1974-11-18 Denver,CO,USA (Afternoon) Publisher: Green Grape
The recording starts out as virtually unlistenable, with a tape mangle every five seconds or so. However, it improves as it continues. The midrange, particularly the horns, sounds clean and clear. However, there is some distortion in the bass, with hiss/crackling in the treble. The show itself is interesting. The playing seems quite lively and spirited. "For you Blue" features different lyrics at the start ("Because you're Colorado, I love you", I think).

*** The last track is in very poor shape. I got this one in a trade a few years ago, and "My Sweet Lord" is full of diginoise. The trader was going to send a fresh copy, but I'm still waiting! Hopefully a better copy will surface, but be warned...
Show identifier - George says at the start "Hello Denver, Good evening" (Tr1 0:17).
I don't know what time the matinee performances ran from (does anyone out there remember?), or whether the full show was performed in each set - I would have imagined the earlier one was shorter. I find it strange that an afternoon crowd would get a "Good evening"!
Most of the above info is from the Bootlegzone review by Aidanymous from Jan 2008.
