George Harrison (special guest: John Lennon)
Money Is The Root Of All Evil Black Cat BC 027

Tracks 1 - 13 are from KLOL 101.1 FM Houston, recorded on November 25th, 1974
Tracks 14 - 27 are from KHJ 930 AM Los Angeles, recorded December 21, 1974 in New York

These two interviews make a fine addition to edeledeledel's sharing of shows from this tour and the excellent master tape of the Fort Worth concert. George seems to still be on a high from the unexpectedly positive performances in the lone star state that he called up KLOL to the disbelief of the DJ and offered to be interviewed. The Fort Worth show is also gets a very positive name check and George reflects back on the first time he played Texas under somewhat more hair raising circumstances.

John Lennon is present during this second interview and talks for a short bit only. How nice to see them together on this occasion.

I have removed the airing of a rough mix of "Maya Love" from track 7, which was a wobbly low-fi affair anyway. The first interview is superior in quality to the second one but even that one is still listenable.
